I am 35 weeks pregnant. I feel like we are getting so close! I have started having some contractions. Nothing major- but something every day. (most likely braxton hicks) The baby is still very active, but his movements are as not as grandiose as before. It's no wonder, either, he is running out of room! My belly feels as huge as it can be and he is always either in my ribs or pushing down. It makes it hard to sit or stand for any length of time! More and more people have been asking how far along I am and I am at the point that most don't hesitate to assume that I am pregnant. We are getting close.

Emi took this picture of me today. 35 weeks, 1 day. |
I am beginning to realize that I have so much to do!!!!! I have the newborn clothes ready to go. And that is about it! I have the beginnings of childcare plans. I know where the baby stuff is, but don't have it out or cleaned yet. I have thought about packing a hospital bag and a "diaper bag" for the big kids. I have thought about going to the labor and delivery unit to ask them about guidelines on releasing my placenta. I know that at my next appointment I will get the paper work to preregister at the hospital. I haven't even started a list yet of what I need to get done. (although I do have a list of all the pictures I want to be sure to get) We are getting close, but I am still so unprepared.

Alexis took this picture of me today. She was excited that she "got you smiling" |
And honestly, I am not too worried. I really just trust in my body and this baby and the Lord's timing on this one. I do plan to prepare, but I am okay with the baby coming whenever the baby wants to come. I am enjoying what I can of being pregnant. I am soaking up time with my kids and Philip before this transition hits. I am relaxing and feeling good. We are getting close, but we still have so much time.
